Laundry Kits
Assemble laundry kits for veterans supported by The Baltimore Station, a therapeutic residential and outpatient treatment program supporting veterans who are overcoming obstacles to regain self-sufficiency.
Materials
- Large Ziplock bag
- Laundry bag
- 2-pack of dryer sheets or 2 individual dryer sheets
- 2 packs of detergent
- Instruction sheet
- Optional: Inside a sandwich-sized Ziplock, add some quarters that the recipients can use at a laundromat. For reference, one load of laundry costs $3.
Instructions
- Place each item into the large Ziplock bag
- Include a kind note for the kit recipient. Some suggestions: “Have a great day!” or “Thinking of you!”
