Be a part of something amazing this December during our Mitzvah Month!
It’s our largest and most exciting volunteer event, uniting thousands of volunteers. Come to the Park Heights JCC and team up with fellow volunteers to assemble our Winter Care Packages, packed with hand-knit hats, toiletries, snacks, and more, all distributed to those in our community who could use some extra care.
We’ll also help connect you with various service projects across Baltimore to help make a difference in the community.

Our Impact
During Mitzvah Day 2022, our community efforts made a huge impact!
- 2,200 Winter Care Packages assembled and donated to 17 organizations
- 907 bagged lunches were assembled and distributed
- 140 volunteers made fleece blankets and gratitude cards
- Over 40 volunteers prepared food for 350+ individuals at 8 organizations.
