Help workforce development clients at the Center for Women & Children at Helping Up Mission by tutoring them in literacy, math, and high school GED. Volunteers may also be asked to teach computer literacy classes (over a six-week period). Helping Up Mission is a 24/7 shelter in Baltimore City for men, women, and children experiencing addiction, homelessness, or poverty.
Six-week period (classes take place 1 hour for 1-2 days per week). Class time is flexible.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and complete a background check (cost of $19). Volunteers must identify as female. Resume required.
