Family Mentor at Soccer Without Borders

Family mentors are matched with a newcomer family in Baltimore and meet with the family at their home to practice English, navigate social services, and develop cross-cultural friendships. Soccer Without Borders provides refugee and immigrant participants with year-round soccer programming, plus English language learning, teambuilding, and mentoring.

Commitment

At least 2 hours per week for one year

Restrictions

Volunteers must be at least 25 years old. Volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Interview process is required for this position. Background check and fingerprinting required.
