Drive Senior Members of CHAI’s Northwest Neighbors Connecting (NNC)

Help older adults in the community by driving them to medical appointments and the grocery store through the CHAI’s Northwest Neighbors Connecting (NNC) program. Comprehensive Housing Assistance, Inc. (CHAI) aims to strengthen neighborhoods with a significant Jewish presence by developing and enhancing housing, affecting community development, and supporting aging-in-community. Northwest Neighbors Connecting (NNC) is a member-led community of active, creative, and independent adults who connect with and care for one another.

Commitment

Approximately one hour of driving per week based on driver’s schedule and ride requests.

Restrictions

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. Volunteers must agree to background and driving record check through CHAI and will receive training in-person at CHAI’s office.
