Community Lunch Cook at Asylee Women Enterprise

Prepare and cook lunch, including clean up, for day program clients at Asylee Women Enterprise. Food for meals will be provided by Asylee Women Enterprise.  Asylee Women Enterprise provides legal services, support/advocacy, healthcare services, employment training, classes, and more to forced migrants and those seeking asylum in Maryland.

Commitment

10am-1pm Tuesday or Wednesday; ongoing volunteers preferred.

Restrictions

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. A background check is required, and training is provided. Volunteers must be able to stand for 2-4 hours and should be comfortable working in a kitchen. Please note: the building is not wheelchair accessible.
