Academic Tutor/Coach at Soccer Without Borders

Tutor and/or coach a diverse group of English language learners at middle or high schools in Baltimore City or southeast Baltimore County. Soccer Without Borders provides refugee and immigrant participants with year-round soccer programming, plus English language learning, teambuilding, and mentoring.

Commitment

1 day a week from Monday-Thursday for 10 weeks. Middle school programs run from either 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. or 3:00 – 6:00 p.m., depending on the school. High school programs run from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.

Restrictions

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Background check and fingerprinting required
