Pride Month 2024

The Macks Jewish Connection Network is dedicated to enriching the connection to Jewish life for individuals of all backgrounds. We are committed to supporting and embracing members of the LGBTQ+ community. We’re passionate about cultivating an inclusive and diverse Jewish community where everyone’s journey is celebrated.

We’re here to have open and safe conversations about connecting with resources for Jewish LGBTQ+ individuals. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us – we’re ready to chat and support you on this journey. Contact our Director of Diversity and Inclusion, Rachel Turniansky.

If you are a family with young children, contact our LGBTQ+ Family Connector, Adam Drutz-Hannahs!

Stoop Stories B-More Proud: Queer Tales of Charm City

Thursday, June 27
7:30-10:00 p.m.
Creative Alliance, 3134 Eastern Ave, Baltimore
Cost: $25

The Stoop Storytelling Series, in partnership with the Queer Jewish Arts Festival, presents B-more Proud: Queer Tales of Charm City! For this show, we are seeking individuals who identify as queer and Jewish to share a true, personal tale. Stories can be about anything related to identifying as queer and Jewish—how you met your partner, your bubbie ally, how your chosen family is your tribe—we want to hear them all!

The Stoop Storytelling Series is a Baltimore-based live show and podcast that features “ordinary” people sharing the extraordinary, true tales of their lives. It showcases the stories of “ordinary” people, told in front of live audiences as large as 1,400. Stoop stories are weird, wonderful, hilarious, and heartbreaking—and, above all, intimate.
