Passover Round Up

Passover is a meaningful Jewish holiday celebrated in early spring. It marks the Israelites’ journey from slavery to freedom, as told in the Exodus story. Passover is traditionally observed through a seder filled with ritual foods, storytelling, songs and questions that invite people of all ages into the experience. Families clean their homes of chametz (foods made from certain grains that have risen like bread or pasta), gather around the table and reflect on themes of liberation, resilience and hope. This year, Passover begins at sundown on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 and ends at nightfall on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
