Muffin Madness

Celebrate National Muffin Day by baking for individuals experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Prepare breakfast bags containing a homemade muffin, a shelf-stable drink, fruit, and a snack. Then, drop off these bags of yummy goodness at our collection site on Tuesday, February 20 from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. at Chizuk Amuno Congregation. Be sure to label breakfast bags with their contents and note any allergens. Breakfast bags should include: the items below. Bags should be labeled with their contents and note any major allergens.

  • Muffin (preferably homemade and labeled, but storebought okay) 
  • Shelf-stable drink: water, juice, milk 
  • Fruit or fruit cup & spoon 
  • Snack: granola bar, trail mix, pop tart, etc.
