Mitzvah Month: Lutherville-Timonium Packing Party with Kol HaLev

This Mitzvah Month, join The Network, along with Kol HaLev, as we work toward packing 2,500 winter care packages to be donated to those in need. Winter care packages are filled with hand-knit hats and scarves, a cozy pair of Bombas socks, assorted toiletries, snacks and games and toys for children.

Enjoy the chance to connect with fellow volunteers, engage with local organizations and make a meaningful impact by assembling care packages for our community.

We welcome participants of all abilities. If you need any accommodations, please let us know.

5:00 p.m.: Get to Know Your Neighborhood

If you’d like to learn more about your neighborhood and connect with the people and organizations that make it unique, join us for a mini resource fair! Local organizations will be on-site to share their work and resources.

5:30 p.m.: Winter Care Package Assembly

After a brief welcome from The Network and the Kol HaLev, we’ll form an assembly line to pack care packages.

To mark the end of Mitzvah Month and Chanukah, we will be providing pizza and lighting a menorah together after the packing party.

*We are excited to be partnering with Kol HaLev for Mitzvah Month 2025! Kol HaLev is a warm Jewish community in Lutherville-Timonium and shares space with the Church of the Holy Comforter. Participation should be in line with your personal Jewish practice.
