Good Deeds Day 2024: Prepare & Organize Materials at Second Chance, Inc.

GDD Organizing Materials

Volunteers will prepare items for merchandising, stack supplies, and organize materials that will be sold at Second Chance, Inc. Second Chance, Inc. provides job training and skill development to those re-entering the workforce in Baltimore.

Volunteer restrictions: Volunteers must be at least 15 years old. Volunteers 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please note: this opportunity involves physical labor (lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods of time) and takes place both indoors and outdoors. The warehouse is not climate controlled, and volunteers should dress accordingly (long pants and close-toed shoes). Volunteers should also bring a reusable water bottle (water stations available). There is a minimum of 12 volunteers needed for this opportunity.
