Expressions of Resilience: Israel’s Creative Ways of Coping after October 7th

A four-session series that will connect people to Israel and the events of October 7th, focusing on the aftermath as experienced by the Israeli people, who used different means of art to cope with their experiences. Join for one or all of the sessions. Light kosher refreshments will be served. This event is open to all members of the 55+ community.

December 5: The art of Zeev (Shoshke) Engelmayer to experience the way the people of Israel think about the war and hostages
January 9: Using the method of Gemara (Rabbinic Commentary), we will interpret poetry written by Israeli poets since October 7
March 27: Listen, learn and explore the music that has been written since October 7, from revenge songs to unity songs
May 1: Recognize and honor Israel’s Independence Day through the eyes of Israelis
