The Soul Center Mikvah at Beth El Congregation

The Soul Center Mikvah at Beth El Congregation is Baltimore’s progressive community mikvah. People from all over the greater Baltimore area are welcomed to our mikvah as a beautiful home for both traditional and creative Jewish ritual. We host conversions performed by rabbis of all denominations and facilitate a range of other traditional, healing, and transition-marking immersions. Our mikvah is a proud member of the international Rising Tide network of progressive mikva’ot. All members of the Jewish community are invited to schedule a mikvah immersion to support, mark, and celebrate their unique spiritual journey. Please visit our website to request an immersion. 

Our mikvah is constructed in accordance with halacha and is under rabbinic supervision. 

Accessibility

• Our mikvah space is fully accessible, on the ground floor. 
• The preparation room is equipped with a stool for seated preparation.
• Our preparation room shower is within a bath-shower combination.
• Our mikvah pool is only accessible by stairs with a built-in railing.
