About the Book: Sisters of Fortune follows three sisters in a close-knit immigrant community as they navigate the tension between family expectations and their own dreams. Fortune, the responsible middle sister, begins to question her engagement as her wedding approaches. Nina, the independent eldest sister, struggles with being unmarried at twenty-six and is offered an unexpected opportunity to reshape her future. Lucy, the youngest sister and still in high school, secretly starts a relationship with an older man. As each sister faces difficult choices about love, ambition, and identity, they must decide how much of their community’s traditions they want to embrace and how much they want to forge their own paths. At its heart, the novel explores sisterhood, family expectations, cultural traditions, and the complicated journey toward defining happiness on your own terms.
