Everyone deserves to feel seen, valued and connected in Jewish life. For many people, the first step toward belonging begins with a trusted relationship—someone who listens, understands and helps open the door to community.
The Macks Jewish Connection Network has already helped nearly 2,500 individuals and families build meaningful Jewish connections through trusted relationships and personalized engagement. The Peer Engagement Fellowship is the next step in that work, extending The Network’s proven relationship-centered approach through trained peers who share the lived experiences of the communities they serve.
Peer Engagement Fellows will support:
- Grandparents whose children are in multi-faith relationships
- Jews of Color
- Parents of children with disabilities
- Parents of LGBTQ+ children
- Russian-speaking Jews
Through one-on-one conversations, resource sharing and relationship building, Fellows will help people find programs, support networks, Jewish experiences and community connections aligned with their interests, needs and identities. Fellows will also work with local organizations to strengthen welcoming and accessible pathways into Jewish life.
Jewish journeys are personal, and there is no single way to participate, connect or belong. Whether someone is looking for community, support, resources or simply a person who understands their experience, a Peer Engagement Fellow can help them take the next step.
