Volunteer at the DeafBlind Shabbaton

The Jewish Deafblind Shabbaton is a fully accessible weekend retreat for Jewish adults who have both hearing and vision loss. About 20 DeafBlind adults and 50 support staff will be arriving from around the U.S. & Israel. Volunteer responsibilities will include setting up the welcome bags and welcome activity, hanging banners, moving luggage, directing people to the meeting room etc.

Commitment

Friday, June 21 from 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Restrictions

Volunteers should be 16 years old or older. Familiarity with American Sign Language is helpful, but not necessary.
