Friendly Visitor and Caller with Jewish Community Services (JCS)

Provide companionship to older adult clients of Jewish Community Services (JCS) several times a month through phone calls and visits to client’s home. Calls and visits can last 15 minutes to a few hours and occur based on the schedule and availability of both the volunteer and the client.

Commitment

Provide companionship to older adult clients of Jewish Community Services (JCS) several times a month through phone calls and visits to client’s home. Calls and visits can last 15 minutes to a few hours and occur based on the schedule and availability of both the volunteer and the client.

Restrictions

Volunteers must be at least 21 years old and pass a criminal background check. Volunteers should have patience, compassion, a positive attitude, the ability to work well with people and should possess good listening skills.
