Micro Grant Application

In partnership with Repair the World, the Macks Jewish Connection Network is excited to offer micro grants up to $2,500 to our local partners. These funds should be used toward Jewish service-learning experiences engaging young adults (22-39) and taking place between April-June 2025.

These young adult service-learning experiences should:

  • Engage Jewish young adults in a volunteer project that meets a community need.
  • Educate participants about a relevant issue area (food insecurity, housing insecurity, isolation, etc.)
  • Meaningfully connect the project to a Jewish value or idea.
  • Facilitate relationship building among participants.

In addition to the micro grant, The Network will support these experiences by having one consulting session with each organization to advise as needed on project ideas and educational content. Please note we are not able to provide day-of staffing support.

Following the experience, organizations receiving micro grants should:

  • Share registration lists with The Network.
  • Share learnings about this process and experience with The Network.
  • Recommend any participants who might be strong leaders for The Network’s future young adult volunteering initiatives.

If you would like to collaborate in this way, please fill out and submit the application below by February 26th, 2025. The Network will respond no later than March 3rd, 2025.
