Good Neighbor Day with CHAI

Join CHAI (Comprehensive Housing Assistance, Inc.) and Jewish Connection Network for neighborhood-based cleanups on Good Neighbor Day! This year, Good Neighbor Day will include cleanup opportunities on both Saturday, 10/26 and Sunday, 10/27 across a variety of neighborhoods in Northwest Baltimore. Volunteer where you live or choose a different neighborhood; all supplies will be provided by CHAI but must be picked up prior to the cleanup. Whichever neighborhood collects the most trash wins!

Community members must register to receive clean-up kits by 10/20. Kits can be picked up at CHAI on 10/21 and 10/22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on 10/23 from 9 a.m. to noon.

The “Association Presidents” will select central meeting locations for their communities. Once a location is determined, residents will gather there, and all trash will be left at the designated site for collection.
